Veterans meeting the qualifications of CVE, M4L and Little Caesars will be referred to and contacted by Little Caesars.

Eligibility:
 
Any honorably discharged, service-disabled veteran who meets the requirements of CVE, M4L and Little Caesars. Candidates must show a letter of rating from the VA, or show the designation of service-disabled on their DD214. This program was created to offer business opportunities to veterans who find themselves at a crossroads either when transitioning to civilian life, or seeking a career change. Existing Little Caesars franchisees are not eligible for this program.

Benefit Value:
Approximately $68,000

Franchise Fee:
$20,000 credit off the franchise fee for the first store
Blue Line Foodservice Distribution Equipment:
$10,000 credit toward initial equipment for the first store (all equipment must be purchased from Blue Line Foodservice Distribution to receive credit).

Financing:
Qualified candidates meeting Little Caesar’s & Crossroads Financial’s qualifications will receive:
• Preferred status on credit and financial qualifications for loan approval
• Low fixed rates with interest rates below market
• Favorable repayment terms with 6-12 months of low payments while the site is under construction
• Consideration for structuring loan with balloon payment of 10-20 percent to further lower cash flow outlays and extend financing terms (if needed)
• Up to 100 percent financing of the remaining balance after applying any credits and benefits extended to the candidate by Little Caesars and supporting sponsors
• No advanced payments required at the time of loan closing
• Financing benefit can be approximately $20,000

The listed vendors have committed to participate in this program, and Little Caesars is relying on these commitments. The participating vendors, however, may be replaced by other vendors that supply similar products or services. Little Caesars may modify or withdrawal this program at any time prior to approval of franchisee and site location.

 

The Steps


The Steps to Explore a Veterans Program Franchising Opportunity With Little Caesars Are:

Contact the Center for Veterans Enterprises (CVE) (VACVE@va.gov or toll-free @ 866.584.2344), or Marine For Life (M4L) (www.M4L.usmc.mil or 866-M4L-USMC)
• They will review the requirements involved with owning a business and Little Caesars’ minimum qualifications to become a franchisee.

CVE / M4L Referral:
• They will refer qualifying veterans to Little Caesars

Application:
• You will receive a franchise application that will require providing Little Caesars with personal and financial information, as well as a basic business plan.

Review the Uniform Franchise Offering Circular (UFOC):
• This disclosure document is required by the Federal  Trade Commission and will provide you with valuable information about Little Caesars.

Interview and On-the-Job Evaluation:
• The interview will be conducted at Little Caesars world headquarters in Detroit, MI. While there, you will have the opportunity to spend one day working in a Little Caesars restaurant so you can experience first hand what is required to run the business.

Approval of Franchise Application and Fee:
• Upon verification of the information in your application and subject to approval by the Little Caesars review committee, you will receive an approval letter. A preliminary fee will be required at this time for non-service disabled veterans. No fee is required for disabled veterans.

Financing:
• If you have not already secured financing, you will need to do so at this time. 

Site Selection and Lease Negotiation:
• Little Caesars will assist you in selecting a site for your new Little Caesars restaurant. You will negotiate the lease with the prospective landlord.

Training:
• You will participate in a six-week in-store and classroom training program in Detroit to prepare you to operate your store.

Grand Opening:
• After construction is completed, you will implement your marketing plan with a Grand Opening event to launch your business.

Ongoing Support:
• Your Franchise Services representative will contact you, and visit your area periodically for special events, or to update you with the latest Little Caesars information.
